Akumen software was originally developed as an aid for a busy manufacturing and retailing business. The business had originally tried numerous management software packages, but found that they all had the distinct disadvantage of trying to shoehorn the business into the software, rather than working with the systems already in existence in the business.

As a result, Akumen software was developed. Software into which any processes would fit. The software has been in place for a number of years now and is still maximising efficiency, ensuring that everyone and everything works smoothly. However, after the software was seen by outsiders, one of the comments we received was, “You really should market that.” We believe we have truly unique products - business management packages designed to fit into any business.
