With more than twenty years of experience in multifaceted engineering environments, Dwight Brooks' diverse experience includes the design of turbofan jet engines, 20,000 square foot fabric tension structures and consumer/industrial electronic products. He has expertise in all phases of product development, from concept through full-scale production with responsibilities related to Industrial Design, Sales/Marketing Support, Functional Specification, Project Scheduling, Budgeting, CAD Design, Computer Analysis, Procurement, Environmental Testing, Certification and Manufacturing Support. Dwight authored nine patents over 11 years while working for Motorola. As a Consulting Engineer and President of Brooks Technical Solutions, Inc., Dwight has worked on a variety of consumer and industrial products including a refrigerant reclamation machine that was recognized as being a unique approach for improved airflow, handling and cord storage as well as a distinctive product appearance. Other products include a pet toy, Personal Digital Assistant, a medical device, unmanned drone submarine, Freon gas detector and a small personal security device all designed using Solidworks. Most of the products continue to be produced and are in service today.
